Republicans are waging a war on democracy.

Through election rigging tactics such as voter suppression, gerrymandering, and refusing to certify election results, Republicans are engaging in a second coup attempt with the goal of seizing full control of the federal government through undemocratic means.

If their election stealing plot is allowed to fully succeed, we will be living under permanent Republican minority rule with no electoral path out of this situation.

The good news is that we can stop them.

While congress and the courts are unlikely to take sufficient action to protect our elections, the strongest safeguard of a democratic society is the will of it’s people to defend it.

If American democracy is to thrive, or even survive, a bold pro-democracy mass movement will be essential.

📣 Begin organizing locally, make plans for future efforts, take first steps, and build up infrastructure to support the broader pro-democracy movement to come.
